Born in a small town, Ayan’s journey into the creative world started early, with a passion for drawing, scriptwriting, and electronics. After studying animation, Ayan gained invaluable experience working in leading animation and VFX production houses across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kolkata. In 2008, this rich experience culminated in the creation of Applita Motion Pictures, based in Kolkata.

Currently, Ayan is breaking new ground in Bengali cinema, working on a European-style horror feature film—the first of its kind—and several art films slated for production next year.
